BARRHEAD METHODIST CHURCH

The Barrhead Methodist church is situated in Paisley Road, Barrhead. G78 1EY click here for location map

The Sunday service is held at 11:00 - see the Circuit Plan for details.

This small red sandstone church, built in 1904 in the small town of Barrhead. Once an industrial town, Barrhead's situation in the rural landscape of Renfrewshire has made it an attractive residential suburb of Greater Glasgow. Yet, there is a still a strong sense of community in Barrhead and our church enjoys good relations with the churches of other denominations in the town. Though not run by the church we have a playgroup for toddlers and young children which meets daily. The church has a bright and clean interior with modern comfortable seats for 120.

Here you will find traditional Methodist worship (with a Scottish flavour) where the praise is robust and the Gospel faithfully presented by the circuit superintendent minister or a methodist local preacher. The church is always warm and comfortable and if you are visiting or have come to live here you will find a warm hearted, welcoming congregation who will make you feel at home.
